at first sip, it was like that scene in Ratatouille, i was instantly transported to the Pennsylvania Deutsch church picnics of my childhood. flavorful, rich bouquet, glass bottle, no artificial nonsense. it's not available all teh time, so i started buying as many bottles as i could expect to drink before the shelf life expired.

Not carbonated?
I was expecting this to be a just larger size of the twist-top bottles, but I was surprised when I first took a sip that it wasn't carbonated. It has the same taste and flavor, but it's flat. I bought 3 cases and all 9 bottles were the same. Did they taste good? Yes. But I won't be buying any more.

Not your average Root Beer!
My oldest granddaughter and I used to get together and try new "gourmet" root beer, and of course snacks like pizza 2-4 times a month. This was the best and our favorite for about 10 years now! In fact we liked it so much we still have the original bottles! Lower carbonation and much higher flavors! If you have never tried it, then you just don't like yourself!
