Not sure who's terrible idea it was to change the recipe for this but it was a total failure. I used to buy the little kegs back in the day but had to stop drinking soda back in 2019 so it's been a while since I purchased soda. I wanted to treat myself the other day and saw this on the shelf at HEB so I got a 4 pack. I got it good and cold and the first taste was like drinking chemicals and not good ones. I looked at the label and saw the ingredients and knew right then that the other 3 cans are going to be put down the drain and the $6 that I spent was a waste. Unless Virgil's goes back to the pre 2020's recipe I will not be a customer ever again. This is a sad day for what used to be a fantastic root beer if not the best.
This is so good, that’s why it’s ALWAYS sold out!
Kind of obsessed.
I love the zero calories and No Aspartame! No nasty aftertaste. However I prefer monk fruit sweetener over stevia but beggars can’t be choosy!! I wish Trader Joe’s in Germantown would carry the zero again along with the regular root beer.
It tastes pretty good compared to Canada Dry. I think though that I like your Zero Sugar Ginger Beer better
Been trying to find a ginger ale that is made with real sugar and NOT stevia (I'm stevias #1 hater) and this is by FAR the best I've tried and most similar to name brands. 5/5 for real
Love it. Wish I could get Cream and Orange zero calorie too, but every time I try it’s out.
I enjoy getting these every month. They have a bit if kick to them, which can be offset slightly with a bit of lime juice and cucumber. That said, I usually just drink from the bottle as is. My favorite drink and it will continue to be for years to come!
Given it is my favorite soda I continue to order it. BUT fewer and fewer retail outlets carry it anymore and you keep raising the online price AND the shipping cost. At some point it will no longer make sense and I will find something else
Very good, almost as good as the real sugar root beer . One of the cans did leak during shipping but no big deal.
I have looked diligently for a low/no sugar ginger ale ... but they all had some level of objectionable sugar substitute. The best I found was Reed's ZERO ... but it had erythritol (many studies indicate wise to avoid) ... BUT since Reed's has now removed the suspect erythritol, I find that it meets my needs perfectly !
Thank you ... Reed's !
I'd prefer the bavarian nutmeg but still the best root beer.
Absolutely fantastic packing job! I've bought this soda in the past, so we know we love it, but buying it directly from you and having it delivered was better.
On the can of Reed’s Zero Ginger Ale, it lists only “Stevia Leaf Extract”, yet on this website (and others) they list a “Sweetener Blend” made up of Erythritol, Stevia Leaf Extract and Monk fruit extract. Very deceptive, especially given the negative health impact of Erythritol. Also very disappointing; why use Erythritol at all? Stevia leaf and monk fruit extracts should be enough.
