Before the days of commercial sodas, ginger beers were made at home with tons of ginger. That sounded right to us—all we needed was a classic recipe. After years of searching, we discovered that the Jamaican tradition held the secret to making a downright delicious ginger beer. It’s a simple formula that uses all-natural ingredients you might have in your own fridge: fresh ginger root, sparkling water, pineapple juice, lemon juice, lime juice, honey, cane sugar, spices.
